Another 4-month study in 100 people with osteoarthritis found that those who supplemented with 5 grams of rosehip extract daily experienced significantly less pain and increased hip joint mobility, compared with the control group.

An 8-week study in 34 people showed that those who consumed 3 grams of rosehip powder per day experienced fewer crow’s feet wrinkles, as well as improved skin moisture and elasticity..

Rose hips from the Rosa canina plant are high in an antioxidant called tiliroside, may have fat burning properties.

Avoid taking with sedative or Rx medications such as sleep and anti-anxiety medications and blood thinners Warfarin (Coumadin), Clopidogrel (Plavix).

You’re having a c-section, or you’ve had a caesarean section before or you previously went into labor prematurely.
Can cause gastrointestinal upset and has a natural laxative properties.
Taking high doses of the plant as a supplement or drinking too many cups of the tea can cause problems including diarrhea and vomiting.
Limit intake to one or two cups of red raspberry leaf tea per day.
Additionally, due to its high levels of vitamin C, rosehip tea may increase the risk of kidney stones in some individuals.
