Laying of hands has been happening for centuries since the Hebrew Bible when Moses appointed and ordained Joshua by laying on of hands.

Invoking the Greek God of Medicine – Aesculapius, within the Greek temples, they used therapeutic touch for healing, partaking of mud baths, and herbal teas of chamomile and peppermint to soothe, calm and alleviate headaches.

Catholics and Baptists believe in the laying of hands.

Reiki is energy healing, which comes from a universal light energy source. Reiki healers can use hands-on healing or hands above the body, not touching the person, to disperse universal healing light.

There is a slight difference in whether you have healing hands or do Reiki.

Reiki depends on which faction it is, one that has 7 levels or 3 levels. The 3 levels come from Usui Ryoho, which was started by a Japanese man, Dr Mikaho Usui.

Empathic healers can feel what is happening through their hands as it is filtered through their bodies. I can feel what is happening to others’ bodies. Oops, to the client’s surprise, if they have missed telling me about a relevant pain on their body, it expresses itself on my body, in the same spot. I’m qualified in multiple disciplines, a natural psychic and healer.

Claircognizance is using another sense; the sixth sense of “clear knowing”, it is also referred to as a strong sense of gut knowing or gut intuition.

Clairsentience, means “clear sensing” or “clear feeling”, is an extrasensory perception or psychic ability that involves perceiving through energetic or emotional feelings, called empathic intuition throughout the body.

Clairempathy is having a “clear sense” of emotional feelings.

They say empathic healers have insights into how others’ emotional energies feel.

I believe my healing hands are a gift from a higher power in the universe, and as a child I believed was given to me from God to help others.
